Thanks to those brave pioneers in the 60s that imported landrace Cannabis Seed genetics to Northern California, where new cultivars were developed that thrived in our Mediterranean climate. These cultivars were and still are some of the best genetics in the world today – the ‘Meat & Potatoes’ of the industry.

Rob’s Original Kush – pure landrace f-1 genetics undiluted for over 30 years only back-crossed amongst itself – produces bright white resinous frosty trichomes & gassy overtones which top growers call ’The Funk’. While some genotypes have matured as soon as early September, others finished full-term all the way into early November.

‘Why’ we did it; Gamifying the geno-hunt – “Pheno-menal by design” To spice up this diverse collection of seeds and add an element of intrigue for our customers and community, each of our developed base F-1s were crossed with three select Male genotypes of Rob’s Original Kush. The three RO Kush-crossed F1 males – AKA ‘Tres Hombres’ (Mimosa, Rockstar and Runtz) – were chosen for various dominant and recessive characteristics that could blend well with expressions and characteristics of Rob’s Original Kush.
